Jackson is a beautiful combination of his sire, Dallas of Prairie Lakes and BBFAI Jubilee. Dallas was sired by Pronkers Rio Grande, a Rewind son. Jubilee is a Mont Blanc's daughter.
Jackson's mom, Jubilee, has excellent EPDs, including the top 1% of Suris for AFD in 2017, top 1% for staple length and top 1% for fleece weight. Jubilee's Suri Herd Improvement (SHIP) scores were amazing - her fleece characteristics were simply wonderful. Dallas also has excellent EPDs as well as superior SHIP scores.
When we develop our breeding plans, Jackson encompasses exactly what we want in the outcomes. He has the low SD that we strive for (4.1) and great AFD (21.2).
After his first shearing we looked at him and suddenly - WOW - this guy had just come into his own. Extremely lustrous fiber, fantastic regrowth with tight locks to the skin. We have fallen for this guy and we think you will too!
